Scope and Sources
This policy describes how Catfish Vanguard Inc. handles personal information on this website, in its public forms and in the investor portal. We receive information directly from you, from your browser when you visit or submit a form, and from a referring website or campaign link. This policy does not replace a separate agreement governing a specific business relationship.
Information You Give Us
The information varies by the form you choose. Optional fields and any file you send are also part of your submission. Please do not submit classified, export-controlled or highly confidential technical information through public forms.

Website, Attribution and Account Data
When you visit or submit a form, we may process page path, referrer, campaign parameters (UTM source, medium, campaign, term and content), first and last landing details, timestamp and user agent. A hidden honeypot field, form-start time and email-based submission counts help detect abuse. Infrastructure may process IP address, request details and security logs. If you allow Analytics in cookie settings, we keep first-party visit records: page path, referrer domain, campaign parameters, device type, country and a one-way hashed session identifier. We do not store IP addresses for analytics and do not share this data with advertising networks.
Investor portal accounts use authentication session data and account identifiers. Portal activity may include login, document view and download records; administrators can see those access logs. Browser storage and the consent record are described in the Cookie Policy.
Why We Use Information and Legal Bases
We use your submissions to answer requests, evaluate potential applications or design partnerships, consider career interest, review investor access requests, arrange future lab conversations, and send updates when you explicitly opt in. We also operate the site and portal, maintain security, prevent spam, keep records and comply with law.
Where applicable, our bases are your consent for email updates and optional storage; legitimate interests in responding to requested business communications, protecting the service and measuring form abuse; steps you request before a potential agreement; and legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for optional storage in Cookie preferences. A newsletter unsubscribe link or a message through Contact can be used to request an end to updates.
Catfish Assistant
The on-site Catfish Assistant answers questions using the content published on this website. Conversations are stored so we can respond to requests, review answer quality, find questions our content does not yet cover and prevent abuse. Only authorized administrators can read stored transcripts. If you ask to be contacted, the details you confirm and a short summary of the conversation are saved with your inquiry.
Assistant replies are generated by an AI model operated by our AI service providers, which process your messages on our behalf to produce answers. Replies may be incomplete; confirm anything important with our team. Do not share sensitive, classified or export-controlled information in the chat. Transcripts are kept for 12 months and then deleted, unless linked to an inquiry that we retain as described below.
Retention
Inquiry, design-partner, demo, lab, career and investor submissions are kept while needed to respond, evaluate a potential relationship, maintain a record of the interaction or meet legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to necessary suppression or legal records. Portal accounts and access logs are kept while access is needed and for security, audit and legal purposes afterward. Anti-abuse and infrastructure logs are kept only as needed for security and operations. Browser storage remains until cleared, expires under the provider settings or is removed when you change preferences. There is no fixed deletion schedule represented by this site.
Security
We use access controls, restricted private storage for submitted drawings and administrative safeguards appropriate to the information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not upload controlled or highly sensitive materials to a public form.
California Privacy Rights
The categories below describe information this site may collect in the preceding 12 months if you use the relevant features. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics; an investor may voluntarily answer an accredited-investor question, and optional uploads could contain information you choose to include. Do not send sensitive data through public forms.
Subject to applicable law, California residents may request to know/access, delete or correct personal information and limit use of sensitive personal information. You may use an authorized agent; we may request proof of authority and verify the identity of the person whose data is involved. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a protected right. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a rejection of optional browser storage.

Other U.S. State Rights
Depending on your state and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. We do not use this site for targeted advertising sales or profiling that produces significant legal effects. Send a request through our contact form and select Privacy, or email Contact@catfishvanguard.com. If we deny a request, reply through the same channel to appeal; we will review and respond as required by applicable law.
Children Under 16
This is a business-facing website, not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us to request its removal.
International Transfers
The website and its backend may process information in the United States and other locations where the hosting provider operates. Where legally required, applicable safeguards will be used for cross-border transfers.
Changes
We may update this policy as site practices change. The date at the top identifies this version; material changes will be described on the updated page.
